CARING FOR SCOTLAND'S SICK, INJURED AND ORPHANED WILDLIFE

5th January 2017

10 new patients today, at this time of year! It included a hedgehog and 2 bats, species that used to hibernate in winter. But this hot, cold, hot, cold weather is getting everything confused. Other casualties were two buzzards, one starving and one rta, peregrine falcon with head injury, a woodcock, another collision case and two pigeons. Also a scaup, a beautiful duck found on Irvine beach, probably also been in a collision.dsc_3135-copy dsc_3139-copy
