Another two seal pups have arrived from Northumberland. Patch is a hefty moulting pup, Bam Bam is a dainty little female pup. Bam Bam has a deep cut on a front flipper, and a lot of deep infected bites. She is young, but feeding herself.

Three swans were brought into care yesterday. 2 of them are in poor condition and being treated with a volley of medication. A big adult swan from Castle Semple Loch had an operation to remove a fishing hook.

A young roe buck that was hit by a car near Gourock has had tears on his hocks stitched up and so far is making good progress.
