Sponsoring a patient is a good way to help an individual casualty. Receive a photo and reports on the patient’s progress. Sponsorship packages can also be sent with a card as a present for Christmas, Birthdays etc. Trust newsletters included.
What can I sponsor?
Choose from the following, which sadly, are all too common patients at the Trust.
Kestrel | Swan | Otter | Rabbit | Deer | Badger | Duckling
Fox | Owl | Hedgehog | Buzzard | Seal
Please give a second choice of casualty, and remember that some, such as ducklings, are in care only at certain seasons. You are welcome to email us at email@example.com first to check the availability of your preferred species.
How do I pay?
You can make a payment to sponsor a patient through any of the options below. We have offered as many choices as possible, and have listed the pros and cons for us associated with each method. Please read our important notes beside each option. If you have any questions about any of the below please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Charity Choice (our preferred method)
Click on the button below to pay for your sponsor a patient through Charity Choice, but please read this paragraph first for important information. Payment through Charity Choice is our preferred method to receive payment, as they charge no commission (so we receive 100% of your payment), and they also deal with gift aid, which reduces the paperwork for us. However, as the Charity Choice payment scheme has a limited functionality, please take note of the instructions listed under the button.
Click on the button above to go to the Charity Choice website.
Select £25 as the payment amount (or select another option to include an optional donation).
Confirm your payment by completing all fields required by the Charity Choice website.
Email us at email@example.com to notify us of your payment (type of sponsorship) and your details (your full name, address and telephone number) and those of the recipient (if this is a gift). Note, we can claim gift aid on sponsor-a-patient payments (unless they are bought as a gift for someone else), so please mark any check boxes appropriately on Charity Choice’s website (and note that `sponsor-a-patient’ does not fall into the `good’ or `service’ category, so that field should not be ticked). If you have any questions about this, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Details of how to pay for your membership using Paypal will be added soon. The Paypal payment option will be more streamlined for you; however, Paypal do take a commission, so we do not receive your full payment. If you use this option, please remember to complete a gift aid declaration (we will make one available online, or you can email us at email@example.com to ask us to send you one by email or post).
