CARING FOR SCOTLAND'S SICK, INJURED AND ORPHANED WILDLIFE

December 5th 2013

What a day. No electricity till 6.30 this evening, therefore no heat or hot water. Coffee breaks, thanks to cooker in campervan, by candlelight.  Trees down around the centre. Small pigeon aviary, fortunately it was empty, blown to bits. Roof off a buzzard aviary. Miraculously the buzzard was still perched, looking somewhat shocked, in the sheltered area at the back of the aviary. I was so pleased get hold of her, as she came from Lochgilphead, and we intend to take her back there next week. Could have been a lot worse.
